Visa/Entry Requirements: Persons wishing to enter Trinidad and Tobago must be in possession of a valid unexpired passport, the validity of which should cover the person's length of stay in the country, and a visa.

Visas are not required for North American, United Kingdom and most European and Commonwealth citizens (except for Australia, India, New Zealand, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda), or for citizens of countries having a visa abolition agreement with Trinidad and Tobago.

Persons wishing to enter should be in possession of valid return tickets to their countries of citizenship or residence and must have sufficient funds to maintain themselves while in Trinidad and Tobago.

Customs: The duty free allowance covers 1 quart of liquor, 200 cigarettes/50 cigars and gifts up to TT$1,200.

Departure Tax: TT$855 (local currency only; approximately US$14).
